SPATIAVERA

FAQ

Questions a first-time evaluator should not need to ask us privately.

If an important question is missing here, that is useful beta feedback.

Is SPATIAVERA a GIS software package I download?

No. SPATIAVERA is being developed as a professional terrain-intelligence service. Clients provide a project question and suitable data; the platform produces controlled analytical deliverables.

What is the main input?

A georeferenced Digital Elevation Model is the primary input for the current terrain-intelligence services.

Does the platform replace geotechnical, hydrological, ecological or engineering design studies?

No. SPATIAVERA does not replace those specialist studies. It provides terrain intelligence and screening, while each service preserves explicit scope limitations and identifies adjacent specialist studies that remain necessary.

How are results checked?

The workflow combines automated validation, Scientific Quality evidence, project traceability, professional review and a Delivery Release Gate.

Are all results independently certified?

No. Validation status is reported honestly. Provisional or partially externally validated evidence is not described as final independent certification.

Can pilot results be delivered automatically?

No. During the professional project, professional review is mandatory and automatic external release is disabled.

What happens if the data is unsuitable?

The project should be stopped or returned for correction rather than forcing the workflow to produce a misleading result.

What happens to feedback from pilot evaluators?

Feedback is used to identify scientific, usability, reporting, workflow and commercial workability problems before the public v1.0 launch.
